I even drove with a DD Wheel i know what iam talking. Its so funny when i read (mostly from new/amateur drivers) that simulations/racing games are not made for Pads and you shouldnt play with a pad. What iam trying to say is that i can perfectly play with a Pad ! I even played iRacing with a pad for a few races. Also its possible to catch the slide unlike with the ACC settings. I played AC for many years now with a pad and it works GREAT ! I have full car control and can really feel the car. The last wheel i had was a Direct Drive Wheel ! I had to sell it for personal reasons and iam playing with Pad now. Iam into motorsports and Sim Racing for around 15 years now. Took me ages to get my cheapy red ferrari thrustmaster wheel to work but that was a problem of mine - the drivers were problematic on other games too so I downloaded an earlier driver version and it's now working a treat - anyone having problems with the Ferrari Red legend edition Thrustmaster steering wheel might find it better with the driver: '2016_FFD_4' version - it now works a treat on all my games at last!! ![]() Originally posted by ff4040deena_gold:Yeah it's not really a game for controllers anyway - the wheels just go extreme left and right all the time, I gave it a first go without the wheel and like the other guy said it wasn't quite as horrendous as AC but still it's no race experience. On a side note, the graphics seem to be nice lol. Maybe we'll get an update and it'll work - fingers crossed. I play AC1 quite a lot and that game got a lot of love from the developers who listened to their supporters, so I think I'll hang on and see how the developement plays out. Though the wheels and pedals controller delivers the stunning racing experience to the players using the dual-motor feedback technology just like the real-life driving or racing experience, just like other controllers it can also cause some issues with the connectivity or actions. I really hope addressing this issue is partt of the developement program, as I would prefer to keep it and get the free updates/full version. Fix: Assetto Corsa Competizione Wheel Not Detected or Working. The other buttons were recognised, while re-mapping, but I'm not going to play like maio cart on the old SNES - the days of digital buttons are way behind me and I need to use analogue input or bust.Īt the moment, I'm sorry to say the game is totally unplayable on the PS4 pad. I tried mapping the shoulder buttons, instead of the triggers, so that I could brake and remove the brake from the same axis as the throttle but the shoulder buttons were not even recognised. There is an option to reverse the input, but it seems to make absolutely no difference. Whichever trigger is used, it's like braking and accelerating together, so you go nowhere.Īlso, the steering is in reverse, using the left thumb pad. ![]() Also, with neither trigger depressed, the axis is centered (equivalent to fifty percent). So, the game considers the laft/right triggers as the same axis, so you can't seperate the accelaration and brake. Please note that the AC1 game worked fine with the PS4 pad, after a bit of tweaking. At first I dismissed the error, as the same was shown in the AC1 game. When detecting the peripheral, it is considered to be an XBOX1 controller.
